Youtube + Seattle Central Library

Surfeando por YouTube me encontré con un excelente vídeo, sobre el Red Room de la librería, ya que es probable que no podamos hacer el viaje a Seattle, es una buena fuente para entender la fenomenología del lugar

Esta es la ultima parte de la secuencia de graficas, ahora comparamos todas sus obras arquitectonicas, construidas y en construccion. Podemos ver la relacion que existe entre el volumen de busquedas, las publicaciones y sus obras, y como el pico de todas estas empieza a partir de 2000 y sigue hasta hoy en día, teniendo como su primera obra el Netherlands Dance Theatre, en The Hague, Holanda en 1987.

También vemos como decrece la cantidad de publicaciones pero incrementa sus proyectos.

La misma grafica de tiempo, pero ahora he añadido todas las publicaciones en las cuales Rem Koolhaas ha sido editor o el autor de los mismo. A simple vista se comprende el por que del volumen de entradas en Google.

Su primer publicación es Delirious in New York el cual fue un “best seller” en 1975, después tiene un periodo de inactividad hasta que publica XL,L,M,S. otro éxito como libro, y a partir de ahí viene toda una seria de grandes trabajos.

Una gráfica donde comparamos el volumen de búsquedas en Google, sobre Rem Koolhaas, en un tiempo, este es referente a cuando están fechados los artículos o si en estos se incluye una fecha especifica, la gráfica va desde 1944, fecha en la que nació Rem Koolhaas, hasta el 2020.

En los primeros años podemos ver que hay varias entradas, y no porque él haya construido o publicado algo, sino que son temarios y/o bibliografias de clases en diferentes universidades, en las cuales podemos ver la relevancia que tiene Rem Koolhaas en los futuros arquitectos.

El volumen de esta gráfica se incrementa cuando pasamos el año 1995 y pico es desde el 2000 hasta el 2008, las ultimas entradas, las que son fechadas en 2012 y 2020, son referentes a la Torre Bicentenario y artículos sobre el desarrollo urbano de China.

Esto nos da una idea de las dimensiones del programa público de bibliotecas, también vemos la diversidad en cuanto a diseño, capacidad, y “target” de las diferentes bibliotecas, y muy importante, la epoca en la construyeron.

Enlista las necesidades de la cuidad sobre la anterior biblioteca, la mayoria de estas ocacionadas por un mal diseño el antiguo edificio. Tambien encontramos datos crudos sobre la funcion del edificio, como el manejo de los libros.

Esta tambien el programa arquitectoníco desde el punto de vista del cliente, listando ciertas carecteristicas para el nuevo edificio. Asi como tambíen una tabla muy general del costo del proyecto y los recursos para este.
